Woah. I’ve wanted to see one of these in action ever since I first heard about them as a kid! I found out that there’s one on display at Musée de la Musique in Paris. When I finally went for the first time several years ago, I made a special trip to see it, and took some pictures of it. It’s amazing! I told a nearby guard how excited I was to finally see it in person, in my moderately decent French. I think she thought I was nuts, but who cares? 😉
