Berlin Philharmonic principal bassist Matthew McDonald has a YouTube channel on which he has begun putting out some of his wonderful bass and piano performances.
He also has recordings of the Bottesini Grande Allegro a la Mendelssohn, Bruch Kol Nidrei, and the Hindemith Sonata. Check these out, and hat tip for bassist Evan Hillis for pointing these out to me.
