I had the chance to interview jazz bass legend Ron Carter recently for Contrabass Conversations.  Ron has, of course, been a hugely influential figure in the world of the bass, from his work with Miles Davis in the 1960s through his dozens of records as a bandleader.  Ron was recently named by the Guinness Book of World Records as the most recorded jazz bassist, with over 2200 album credits to his name.
